ChompMenus.com was launched in the fall of 2005 by four former Penn State University Students. Having run a successful online restaurant & bar guide up at PSU for the last 3 years, they decided to expand their operation. Being fans of some big time football but sick of the snowy weather, the University of Florida was a natural fit.

Just as they did at PSU, Chris, Dave, Jason and Justin are dedicated to making ChompMenus the #1 restaurant & bar guide for the residents and students of Gainesville, Florida. They guarantee that ChompMenus is your guide to the most up to date information for local restaurant menus and bar specials.

ChompMenus.com is the combination of two former websites, www.gatormenu.com and www.gatorwaiter.com, both of which were acquired by the four men during the summer of 2005. They are confident that the new format of ChompMenus combines the best qualities of the two former sites while incorporating some new features that enhance the user’s ability to properly search for local restaurant menus and bar information.
